Visit of the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy to the Iranian Tissue Products Company Booth

On Monday, August 19, 2024, Dr. Afshin, the Vice President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy, visited the booth of the Iranian Tissue Product (Regen Allograft) Company during the 22nd Annual Meeting of Pardis Technology Park. During the visit, the innovative products and technologies employed in the company’s production were of special interest to him and other visitors.

The 22nd Annual Meeting of Pardis Technology Park and the Inauguration of the Iran International Innovation Zone

The inauguration of the Iran International Innovation Zone and the 22nd Annual Meeting of Pardis Technology Park, coinciding with the selection festival of the park’s top achievements and the unveiling of premier products, took place on September 10, 2024. The event was attended by national officials, technology and innovation experts, and CEOs of member companies.

In his speech, Dr. Afshin emphasized the importance of Pardis Technology Park’s over 20 years of activities and introduced it as a successful ecosystem. He also highlighted the need for the establishment of a “City of Elites” alongside the park to further its development and progress.

Dr. Afshin stated: “We have numerous technology parks in the country, and Pardis Technology Park is one of the successful international examples. This park has been able to fulfill its role as a developmental organization according to the Leap Law. If Pardis Park succeeds as a developmental organization, other parks will follow suit.”

Speech by the President of Pardis Technology Park

Mr. Mehdi Saffarinia, President of Pardis Technology Park, announced during the ceremony that the Iran International Innovation Zone, as a comprehensive ecosystem for work and life, has been established to advance technology and innovation in the country. He outlined the key objectives of this zone, including increasing the share of knowledge-based industries in the economy, achieving advanced technologies, and turning Iran into a technology hub for the Islamic world.

Saffarinia also mentioned that this zone was approved by the Cabinet in July 2024, and its management and development will be pursued with the participation of various national institutions.
